It was a great time spent with friends harvesting grapes at Haut Latay in Aigrefeuille sur Maine.
Armed with our harvest bags, we went through the rows to pick the grapes from which flowed a sweet and warm juice. It must be said that at noon it was still 33 degrees.
50 hectoliters in 4 hours is not bad!
It reminded me of my childhood not far from here, in Vallet, when I was a kid drinking grape juice straight from the press.
Now all that’s left to do is taste the bourru of our 2022 harvest!
